Kampala, Uganda – The excitement is building as 15 schools have confirmed their participation in the 3rd Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Swimming Gala, set for Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at Seroma Christian High School, Kyetume.
Host School Ready to Welcome Swimmers
Seroma Christian High School is eager to showcase their facilities and hospitality. “We are fully prepared to host all swimmers and participants,” says a school games teacher.
“Everything is in order, from the competition area to refreshments. Our team is also well-trained and determined to compete at their best.” – Abu Senyu told USSSA Media.
Boys and Girls Vying for Championship Titles
This year’s gala promises thrilling competition for both boys and girls. Defending champions, British School of Kampala (girls and overall champions in 2023), will be present alongside host school Seroma Christian High School.
The USSSA Swimming Gala began in 2022 with Elite High School Entebbe hosting the inaugural edition. This year’s event promises to continue the tradition of fostering excellence in Ugandan school swimming.
