The Uganda Women Elite League is back, and the competition promises to be more intense than ever. Sponsored by Finance Trust Bank, the league is set to begin on October 26th and 27th.
With 14 teams vying for promotion to the Finance Trust Women Super League (FTWSL), the league is divided into two groups: the Elizabeth and Victoria groups.
Last season, Asubo Gafford Ladies and UCU Lady Cardinals were relegated from the FTWSL to the Elite League. Meanwhile, Tooro Queens, Amus College, and reigning champions She Corporate were promoted to the top tier.
