National Basketball League Playoffs | Semifinals | Game 5
- JKL Lady Dolphins Vs UCU Lady Canons – 7 pm | Lugogo Indoor Arena
The stage is set for a tough semifinal finish tonight as JKL Lady Dolphins and UCU Lady Canons battle in a decisive Game Five of the National Basketball League playoffs on Wednesday evening at Lugogo Indoor Arena.
The best-of-five series is tied 2-2 after UCU stunned the defending champions 65-50 in Game Four.
Matrina Anyango led the charge with a dominant double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds, while Sylvia Nakituuka and Shilla Lamunu added 11 and 10 points respectively to force the series into a winner-takes-all clash.

For JKL, it was a night to forget. Only captain Hope Akello hit double figures with 15 points as the team struggled to find its rhythm.

The Dolphins shot just 7 of 32 from beyond the arc and were out-rebounded 57-37 by a more physical UCU side.
With everything at stake, both teams are expected to leave it all on the floor tonight. JKL, who topped the regular season, face pressure to defend their crown, while UCU riding high from their Game Four win, will be eyeing a dramatic comeback and a place in the finals.
The winner will advance to meet the JT Lady Jaguars, who booked their first-ever finals appearance after sweeping the Magic Stormers in the other semifinal.
