I will award KCB KOBs’ Frank Kakula for a terrific season by naming him as my loosehead prop in the premiership team of the season.

The consistent prop is joined in the front row by Rhinos’ Hooker Emmanuel Kiyaga and Jinja Hippos’ power house Fahad Maido.

In the second row, Jinja Hippos’ Julius Opio is joined by KCB KOBs’ Simon Makumbi with the veteran lock having the best season of his career.

The back row was hotly contested with Stanbic Black Pirates’ Frank Kidega earning a place, accompanied by KCB KOBs’ Andrew Odhiambo at number eight. Victoria Sharks’ Mark Omoding completes the forwards line after a very impressive season.

Jinja Hippos’ Aziz Bagalana is selected at scrum-half with Stanbic Black Pirates’ William Nkore dictating play at fly half. The duo impressively marshalled their sides to home play-off ties.

In the center, KCB KOBs Ian Munyani and Uganda Olympic Committee’s Rugby Player of the Year, Timothy Kisiga take the spots.

Finally, in the back three, Jeremiah Okello who I can easily call my breakthrough player of the year and Walukuba Barbarians’ Shakim Ssembuusi are selected on the wings.

KCB Kobs Joseph Aredo is the final player chosen for my rugby premiership team of the season.
