Uganda, the reigning champions of the continent’s biggest showpiece has received the hosting rights for the 2023 Africa Netball Cup.

“It will be upon confirmation that all the hosting requirements will be in place before and during the tournament to allow the smooth running of both competitions.”

The requirements needed for hosting the tournament include having quality venues most importantly, indoor sprung floor facilities.

Uganda is also expected to provide meeting venues, and accommodation for teams, match officials, and Africa Netball and World Netball executive members.

UNF should also provide inland transport, medical, security, liaison officers, and volunteers for umpires and Netball Staff among others.

Among the venues that could harbour the tournament are; MTN Arena Lugogo, Makerere Netball Court, and Africa Bible University.

With the national stars both; the She Cranes and their opposite sex ready to put their bodies on the line, our role as Ugandans is to turn up in big numbers and Twaake with them.
