Crested Cranes and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC defender Aisha Nantongo has completed a move to Danish first division team Aalborg BK.
Nantongo has officailly signed a two-year employment contract to become Aalborg BK player for at least two years.
The versatile defender has been training with Aalborg BK since August this year where she impressed her bosses who have signed her officially.
The former Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC captain, was part of the Crested Cranes squad that competed in the 2022 AFCON in Morocco.
In Denmark, she joins fellow countrywomen Vanessa Edith Karungi, a goalkeeper playing for FC Nordsjaelland and Phiona Nabbumba who plies her trade at B93 FC.
The club is represented in the NordicBet Liga from 2023–24 after relegation from Danish Superliga in 2022–23 and has won four Danish football Championships and three Danish Cup trophies.
Most recently the team won the double in 2014.
