St. Mary’s Kitende of Uganda comfortably beat Kiwira Coal Mine of Tanzania 3-0, while Amus College School of Uganda defeated Shanderema Secondary School of Kenya 2-0 in their opening matches of the 2023 FEASSSA Games on Sunday, August 20.
Sadik Mansur scored two beautiful goals for St. Mary’s Kitende in the first half, and Torach Rogers added a goal in the second half.
The Kitende based school will be hoping to win more games to win the prestigious title after failing to win it last year in Tanzania.

Striker Allan Oyirwoth scored a goal in each half to give Amus College a historical win in their first ever game in boy’s football at the East African stage.
Oyirwoth opened the scoring in the early stages of the game through a penalty, and then made a solo run from his own half to score the second goal.
