After months of uncertainty, Uganda Premier League side Arua Hill SC have finally confirmed they will relocate to Paridi Stadium in Adjumani for the forthcoming campaign.
Initially, they had been forced to shift to Kavumba Recreation Ground in Wakiso after their own Barifa Stadium had failed to meet the licensing standards, but they have now confirmed a return to West Nile.
The Leopards announced on Tuesday night that they will be moving to Paridi Stadium, which has been undergoing a renovation.
“Our new home Paridi Stadium in Adjumani has been approved by FUFA to host StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches for the 2023/24 season,” Arua Hill made it public knowledge.
The club management also promised to continue rehabilitating Barifa to be able to return to Arua in the course of the season.
“We strive to put back Barifa Stadium hopefully some games will be in Arua,” Arua Hill vowed.
Arua Hill has endured a spell of unending off-field issues that have gone as far as threatening their League status.
They have dealt with ownership changes, hooliganism, mass player exodus, and financial difficulties but are now looking to restore calm before the season’s commencement.
