Asubo Gafford Ladies, the 2022/23 FUFA Women’s Beach Soccer League champions, will be celebrating their title on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, at Trends Swimming Centre in Kanyanya.
The event will be a chance for the club to present the title to club president Mr. Henry Barungi, as well as to confirm some of their new signings and the departure of some players.
According to sources, Asubo Gafford will be unveiling three players signed from She Kataka FC.
Meanwhile Brenda Nakayenga and Brenda Nalumu are among the players who will be officially released ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The team is also preparing a hefty offer to their head coach Rogers Nkugwa to keep him at the club.
In the FUFA Women’s Super League, Asubo Gafford Ladies survived relegation on the final day of the 2022/23 season, and they will be looking to build on that success next season.
The party is open to the public, and tickets are available for purchase at the door.
