Aziz Damani Development head into game week six of the National Men’s 50 Over League looking to continue with their winning run.

The table leaders remain one of the only two sides in the league yet to lose a game this season having won all their first five games.

Their most recent win was a 10-wicket win over bottom side Patidar who are yet to win a game this term.

With the second placed team in the league Challengers not playing over the weekend, Development could take the point difference to four.

They are leading the table with 10 points, two ahead of the team in second but should they garner all the two points, they will take the gap to 4 as Challengers are resting this weekend.

Development are on an excellent run, but they will enter Sunday’s game wary of their opponent.

Nyakasura’s threat

Nyakasura may have lost two of their first five games, but they are a tricky side capable of upsetting the leaders.

The youthful side has Joseph Baguma, Pascal Murungi, Mathew Musinguzi, Isaac Ategeka among others on their ranks, and these youngsters on their day can beat any team.

They come into this one off the back of a 3-wicket win over the T20 Cup finalists Avengers.

But Development know the kind of quality at their disposal is scary to any team; they will be confident of victory when the game bowls off in Entebbe.

Brian Masaba, the captain of the side, Henry Senyondo and veteran Frank Nsubuga are all perennial winners who will be expected to get the job done against the students.

The other weekend game will see Avengers face Patidar. The former will be looking for their second win of the season while the latter will be searching for their first this season.
