Bamusuuta marks big score in Zone 3 Mini League opener

Kiboga District Football League champions Bamusuuta have started the Zonal Mini League with an intimidating performance in Kasanda.

In the game that ended 7-0 on Sunday, 15th June 2025, Muhammed Mugambwa and Joram Kalyesubula both scored a brace each.

The other goals to complete the score came from Lamech Sserwanga, Samuel Kuteesa and Daniel Kamanda.

Chasing promotion to the Buganda Regional League, the Ben Bogere-coached side will return to action on Tuesday, June 17, against Wabigalo Boys at Kassanda Ssaza Ground.

In the other Matchday One fixtures, Wabigalo FC faced a hard beginning after falling 1-0 to Ndejje Zanta in the other game of Group A.

In Group B, Matugga United was stunned by Garuga Stars 1-0 while hosting team Kassanda FC fell to Jjeza FC 1-0.

In Group C, the only game meant to be played was not honoured with Happy Boys failing to show up against Gayaza FC.

Games shall continue on Monday, 16th June 2025 with five fixtures.
