In a bid to improve competition among teams in both the FUFA Drum and Futsal League, instant cash for the winning side has been introduced by betPawa.
This arrangement is a 25% portion off the momentous partnership worth Ushs 1.18 billion ($320,000) between the betting company and FUFA products.
Ntoudi Mouyelo, Managing Director at Mchezo Africa which owns betPawa, shared the good news at the presser today morning at Fairway Hotel.
“Under this partnership, we are introducing the Locker Room Bonus which offers players fast and direct benefits.”
“The players who make the squad list per match will each get a cash token worth (UGShs150,000) sent to their phones after the game if their team wins,” explained Mouyelo on his part.
The Locker Room Bonus is the latest in a series of initiatives by BetPawa to support Ugandan football.
The partnership will also see the betting company take up Title Sponsorship of Futsal and the Big League.
