Ffumbe registered their first group stage win edging Ngoonge 3-0 to go second on the table, two points above bottom side Musu. Anwar Ntege netted a brace for Ffumbe clan while the third goal came from Muhammad Senoga Kagawa.
It was a one all draw between Ngo and Nsenene. Michael Lubowa was the goal scorer for Ngo and Jamil Kajubi scored for Nsenene.
Ssaka Yusuf scored for Mpindi while Ivan Mayanja netted for Omutima Omusagi as the two teams shared spoils.
Reagan Kirumira, Tom Masiko and Patrick Kakande were on target as Engeye smashed Kinyomo 3-0 at Buddo SS playground.
In Wakisha, Mbogo and Nte shared spoils in a six-goal thriller. Nelson Ssenkatuka netted a brace and Yunus Ssentamu added one for Mbogo while Umar Kasumba scored a brace and Peter Lwasa scored another for Nte.
Former KCCA FC midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba scored the lone goal for last year’s finalists Lugave as the narrowly edged Envuma 1-0 at Kawanda SS Playground.
Nsimbe Jibril scored for Musu while Viane Ssekajugo netted for Ngabi Nsamba as the two sides played to a 1-all draw.
The games will resume on Monday 17th July with eight games of the second round of the group games.
