Uganda’s U20 women’s national team, the Queen Cranes, provisional 32-player squad has been named and preparations begin for their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers against Namibia.

Head coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda summoned a balanced team with six goalkeepers, ten defenders, twelve midfielders, and four forwards.

The squad enters camp on Wednesday at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi, to fine-tune tactics ahead of the two-legged tie.

Uganda will host the first leg on September 19 before traveling to Namibia for the return leg on September 27.

The winner on aggregate will progress to the final qualification round in February 2026, facing either Burundi or Zambia for a place at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

FUFA confirmed that the team features a mix of local talent and international experience, with players drawn from top Ugandan clubs, academies, and abroad.
