The stage is set for a thrilling final at the FEASSA Games netball championship as two of Uganda’s biggest sporting rivals, Buddo Secondary School and St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende, prepare to face off.

The highly anticipated match, happening in Kakamega, Kenya, is a repeat of their recent clash at the National finals in Tororo, where Buddo stunningly defeated Kitende with a narrow 29-27 victory.

This championship battle isn’t just about a trophy; it’s a test of dominance. St Mary’s Kitende is the reigning FEASSA Games netball champion and holds an incredible record of 18 titles.

They advanced to the final after a decisive 59-32 semifinal win over St Noa Girls Zana, aiming to secure their 19th title.

Meanwhile, Buddo Secondary School, though they have never won the FEASSA netball championship, proved their strength by defeating first-timers Hamdan Islamic 46-38 in their semifinal. The rivalry between these two schools is legendary, and their showdown in any sport promises a fierce and unforgettable contest.

This final is a testament to Uganda’s continued dominance in the FEASSA Games, particularly in netball. Ugandan schools have won every single one of the 21 FEASSA netball titles, with only three schools ever claiming the top spot.
