Buddu prove other counties to be too short in 2024

Buddu again stood out with an outstanding performance, this time in cycling, where they collected the overall trophy after putting on a stellar performance.

In the race ridden on 16 November when Buganda kingdom celebrated Youth Day, Buddu won two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals to top the overall standings.

With a total of 744 points, the Pokino’s county won a second championship boosting ongoing celebrations for the football trophy.

Waswa Cosma and Kebrin Namubiru were key riders for Buddu scooping top spots in the Ordinary Bike Race and in the women’s road bike race.

Alexander Nakasagga added on a second-placed finish in Women’s road bike while Yahaya Kivumbi and Jean Claude Nyamugabo secured a podium finish for bronze in both ordinary and Men’s road bike races.

Bulemeezi finished second with Aziz Ssempijja’s push as Bugerere were third after taking all in the Women’s ordinary bike race.
