It took 22 minutes for brave midfielder Abaas Muluya Junior to find the equalizer for Kyadondo as they survived against Bugerere in the Masaza Cup.
Muluya came on to replace Isac Ssenyunja in the 65th minute as one of the three changes made by Kyadondo Coach Medi Nyanzi.
The other two substitutes that made a significant change were Ssentamu Sudais and Arafat Baluk for Sulaiman Ali Ssentongo and Ismail Ndifuna.
Henry Wamala scored for the visitors in the 23rd minute as they were trying to win for the first time this campaign, but they ended up settling for a third consecutive draw.
After the match, goal scorer Henry Wamala promised Bugerere fans that the team would improve in the next game.
“I am happy for a point, though we are yet to get well with our performances so far, but our next game against Mawokota, we have to go for a win.”
Meanwhile, Kyadondo captain on the day, Faiso Kyazze Wamala Kalagi, said; “It’s a point earned, we are going back to rebuild as we are looking for ways to win our next game against Buwekula.”
For Kyadondo, the draw lent them stability from a loss suffered on the road to Buvuma last weekend.
After Matchday 3, Kyadondo has now registered one win, one draw, and one loss this season, leveling with Mawokota and Buvuma on 4 points, though the two have played 2 games so far.
