As Entebbe Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation FC ground for a start of new life in the Uganda football topflight, the Entebbe-based club continue to boost their squad.
Earlier in the month, FUFA officially approved a request to change the name of Gaddafi FC to Entebbe UPPC FC.
On Tuesday, August 12, the club announced the eighth signing in Isa Bugembe, who crossed from Champions Vipers SC on a two-year deal.
The 21-year-old midfielder last season played for only 85 minutes in 7 appearances, all coming on as a substitute, while he was an unused substitute on 17 occasions.
Bugembe has played 26 matches for two clubs since the beginning of the 2021-2022 season. During that period, he has scored only once and assisted four goals, all while still at Bright Stars, and his only professional goal for a club came against Busoga United as they were drawing 2-2 on March 14, 2024, in the Uganda Premier League.
Noordeen Bunjo from Bright Stars, Steven Munguchi and Mustafa Mujuzi both from KCCA FC, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Marvin Mukiibi from Wakiso Giants, while Rogers Omedwa and Denis Otim also joined from URA FC.
This is topping on the newly appointed technical team led by Abdallah Mubiru as Manager, Livingston Mbabazi, and Godfrey Walusimbi backing as Coach and Assistant.
