BUL FC Junior Team defeated Prosper Soccer Academy 1-0 in their second game of the FUFA U-17 Tournament played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Wednesday.
Eric Kibirango scored the all-important goal in the first half to give BUL FC the win.
This was Prosper Soccer Academy’s first loss in the tournament after winning their first game against Friends Of Soccer.
BUL FC are now level on points with Vipers SC Junior Team, but Vipers have a better goal difference.
In the other game of the day, Mbarara Sports Academy beat Friends Of Soccer 3-1.
Nelson Thomas Ngambeki scored a brace for Mbarara, while Ronnie Asiimwe added one. Abdu Musinguzi scored the consolation goal for Friends Of Soccer.
Today, BUL FC JT will face Vipers SC JT in a top-of-the-table clash, while Prosper Soccer Academy will take on Mbarara Sports Academy.
A team that wins with two or more goals is awarded a bonus point.
The tournament is played on a round-robin format, with each team playing four games during the five match days.
The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned champions.
