  • Lugazi FC 0-1 SC Villa
  • BUL FC 7-0 Total FC

BUL FC delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Total FC 7-0 at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Tuesday evening to storm into the Uganda Cup quarterfinals.

A brace from Karim Ndugwa and Isaac Wagoina led the way with Reagan Kalyowa, Jerome Kirya and Lawrence Tezikya also getting on the scoresheet in a one-sided affair.

BUL wasted no time asserting their authority, with Jerome Kirya breaking the deadlock three minutes before the half-hour mark from the penalty spot after Ndugwa was fouled.

Six minutes later, Ndugwa got his first, capitalizing on a brilliant pass from Fredrick Ngalo to send BUL into halftime leading 2-0.

Just two minutes after the restart, Ndugwa completed his brace with a well-crafted goal assisted by Wagoina.

From there, it was an onslaught:

  • Tezikya made it 4-0 in the 75th minute.
  • Wagoina struck BUL’s fifth in the 81st minute.
  • Kalyowa added his name to the scoresheet shortly after.
  • Wagoina completed his brace in the 89th minute, sealing a commanding 7-0 victory.

The emphatic win sent BUL into the last eight, joining SC Villa, who edged Lugazi 1-0 in Najjembe, thanks to a lone strike from Reagan Mpande.

The day will be rounded off with a match between KCCA and Rwenzori Lions at the Phillip Omondi Stadium at 7 PM under the Lugogo Lights.
