The Busoga Province football team paid a visit to His Royal Highness the Kyabazinga of Busoga Gabula William IV on Friday, July 21, 2023 to seek forgiveness for past mistakes.
The team was led by FUFA President Hon Eng Moses Magogo, who hails from Budiope East.
They were also accompanied by chairman FUFA Drum Mr.Byamukuma Rogers, Mr. Kalema Ronnie, and Mr.Magola Issa, all FUFA Executive Committee Members.
The team was well received by the Minister of Sports in Obwa Kyabazinga bwa Busoga Owek Amin Bossa, who later introduced them to the Prime Minister of Busoga Kingdom Owek Dr.Muvawala Nsekere, Deputy prime minister Owek Osman Noor, and other Kingdom officials.
In his speech, Magogo apologized for the team’s past mistakes and said that they were committed to working together with the Busoga Kingdom for the good of the region.
He also said that the team was there to correct their mistakes and move on as a family.
The Kyabazinga of Busoga gave his blessings to the team and wished them success in their future endeavors.
