The stakes couldn’t be higher as Buvuma hosts Bulemeezi in a crucial Buganda Masaza Cup group stage clash. For both teams, this seventh match of the group stage is a make-or-break moment.
Only the winner will keep their 2025 Masaza Cup dreams alive and have a chance to advance from the Masengere group.
Both Buvuma and Bulemeezi are currently at the bottom of the group, with just five points from six matches. A victory would boost either team to eight points, giving them a fighting chance to catch the second-place spot.
They are four points behind Mawokota (9 points) and also trail Bugerere (8 points) and Kyadondo (6 points). Buweekula leads the group with 13 points.
Buvuma coach, Medi Vubya, understands the pressure. “It is a do-or-die game for both teams,” he said. “We are determined to fight for this as our only opportunity.”
The match kicks off on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Mukono Bishops. This is a chance for Buvuma to avenge their 1-0 loss to Bulemeezi in the first leg at the Kosovo ground.
