Buweekula have completed the signing of midfielder Marvin Ssenyonjo from Gganda Football Academy.
Ssenyonjo has signed a short-term deal to play for Buweekula until the end of this year’s Masaza Cup tournament.
The teenager comes as a direct replacement for Mulamba Blanchar who left Buweekula to join Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants FC.
Ssenyonjo is a very energetic and intelligent midfielder who can also play as a winger or as a false centre forward.
He is a student at Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga and has featured in different tournaments for his school like the 2022 USSSA games in Arua.
Buweekula finished top of Masengere group advancing to quarterfinals as the only unbeaten side and they will face Bulemeezi at Kasana playground, Luweero this Sunday.
The Frank Mulindwa coached side is targeting to win their first ever Masaza Cup title.
