Kampala Quality Academy Sports Complex witnessed 29 goals from 10 games of match day six of the Ntare League over the weekend.
The highest scoring encounter had Omujuma and Kabali combine for a seven goals thriller with Omujuma winning 5-2.
However, the best highlight on the green saw Bweras FC, a guest team from Bweranyangi Girls’ SSS old girls thump Abazibu 5-0.
The big win against a side on ten points and in the top five of the league shocked many and it has been the talk in Bwera-Ntare corridors since Sunday afternoon.
Away from the man biting a dog story, Kalele enjoys the summit of the league on 16 points, followed by Ebicuncu and Omujuma with 13 and 12 points respectively.
In the chase for the golden boot, Kalele’s Aaron Ndahura, Kashoro’s Fulgensio Kabuubi and Joseph Musinguzi of Omujuma cannot be separated, all scoring six goals in a hot race.
As all this drama and goals were unfolding, those whose places belong in the stands were indulging themselves.
They washed down all assortments of muchomo and ‘rolexs’ with both soft and hard drinks as the scorching sun and a slight drizzle owned the day.
