Continental first-timers BUL FC will have a seemingly huge hurdle to deal with in the CAF Confederation Cup against Egyptian outfit Future FC in the Preliminary round.
The Jinja-based outfit won the Stanbic Uganda Cup to make it to the continent’s second fiddle competition in club football.
It is the first time they are playing at this stage and this inexperience could prove costly in their charge.
Also, Ugandan sides have particularly underwhelmed against Egyptian outfits which makes BUL’s task a bit more complicated.
The latter has been tasked to be the first hosts between September 09-11 before making the Egyptian trip between September 16-18.
However, not everything is complicated for BUL as their opponent will as well be debuting at the continent.
The victor will take on one of Borgou (Benin) and Kallon FC (Sierra Leone) at the second preliminary round.
