With just six days to the CAF Champions League Preliminary Round bout between Vipers SC and Olympic Real De Bangui slated for Saturday, the referees have been revealed.
Africa’s football custodian, CAF has named Democratic Republic of Congo international, Jean Pierre Tshiamala Kabangu as the center referee in the match slated for Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat in Congo Brazzaville.
Meanwhile, Nabina Blaise Sebutu and Babaka Mampasi, who are all Congolese nationals, will be the first and second assistants respectively.
The fourth official, Tanguy Lopembe Tangi, is also a born of DRC but not, match commissioner, Jean Claude Niyongabo, who hails from the neighboring, Burundi
After the Saturday meeting, the return leg will happen seven days later, on September 17th, 2022 at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
The victor on aggregate will qualify to the first round of the biggest club competition on the continent.
