Challengers Cricket Club will face bottom of the table Africa Cricket Club on Sunday looking to go top of the table in the National Men’s 50 Over League.
The two sides will have their affair negotiated at the Green Oval in Entebbe, and Challengers will look to continue with their perfect run this season.
Challengers have won all three of their league games this campaign. They will be eyeing more maximum points when they meet a side yet to taste victory this season.
Challengers are currently placed second in the table standings with 6 points, that’s two below Aziz Damani Development who lead the current proceedings.
Development lead the table with 8 points, but are out of action this weekend. Challengers will seek to seize this opportunity to dislodge Yusuf Nanga‘s team from the top by recording a superior net run rate.
Their current run rate reads 1.3, that’s almost half of Development’s 2.7.
Avengers against Nyakasura and Ceylon Lions against Patidar will be the other league games over the weekend.
Lugogo Cricket Oval will host the Avengers vs Nyakasura match up while the Serenity Oval in Kamengo will host the Ceylon Lions vs Patidar game.
