After almost a month out of action, Challengers will return to action looking to maintain their 100% run in the National Men’s T50 League.
The side will make a short trip to Kamengo to face Ceylon Lions at the Serenity Oval on Sunday.
Challengers have won all their opening four games, but the last time they took part in a league engagement was on 10th September. It was against Africa Cricket Club who they annihilated by 203 runs.
With the league title in their grip, they will hope they are still on top of their game when they return to action on Sunday.
Challengers is seated second in the table standings with 8 points, four behind leaders Aziz Damani Development, but that is because they have played two games less than the leaders.
Ceylon Lions on the other hand are closer to relegation than they are to safety. The side is seated 7th with three points, two places and as many points off the drop zone.
Ceylon Lions are in that position because they lost their first four games. The only win they have to their name came after ACC forfeited their fixture in late August.
They will be hopeful they can get something out of Sunday’s game as they seek to avoid relegation.
The other Sunday games will see Aziz Damani battle Kutchi Tigers, Jinja SS will host Premier, while Avengers will take on Patidar.
