SC Villa will be looking to maintain their winning streak when they travel to face Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League on Friday.
The Jogoos come into the match with memories of Vipers snatching the league title from them on the final day of the 2022/23 season.
Villa have also not been good visitors at Kitende, losing all of their last three games there but the 16-time champions are determined to turn things around and secure a positive result.

They are fresh off a resounding 3-0 victory over newly promoted side NEC FC in their previous game and hope to for a similar outcome.
However, they will miss the services of left back Joseph Kafumbe(not returned to full training), goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige (down with malaria), and Rogers Kiwanuka (sustained a knock).
Defender Tabu Oryem and versatile player Denis Ojara, who are undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries are still long term absentees.

Goalkeeper Norman Angufindru who has been vital in Villa’s goal posts has assured fans that the team is ready for the challenge.
“We’re well aware of our capabilities and we believe we can secure points at their home ground. It’s essential to approach this match with the right mindset and determination,” he said.
Vipers debut for Kambale?
Vipers, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from their goalless draw with Mbarara City in their previous match.

They will welcome the return of new signing and forward Eric Kambale, who could make his debut.
“I hope so. We will see what happens but obviously it is what I am working towards,” he stated.
“I’ve been doing more in recent training sessions and I’m starting to really feel better than when l came,” he said.

“Its been tough training for the past three weeks but I think I’m getting there. You have to be professional, work hard and try and improve every day”.
Last season, both sides won their home ties against each other, so it promises to be a close and exciting match.
