Before flying out to pursue medals, Uganda Boxing Federation president Moses Muhangi promised to reward the Bombers who will return as victors from Birmingham commonwealth Games.
For every gold medal, the boxer will pocket UGX 3 million, 2 million for every silver and 1million for every bronze.
Now, with the draws out and being in the know of the first hurdles between them and the said cash, the six boxers are ready to rumble when the dates and times are set.
Weighing in at different categories, Uganda national boxing team representatives will start their gold hunt at various stages such as quarterfinals, round of 8 and 16.
Uganda’s boxing team to the 2022 Commonwealth Games in UK has one female, Nakimuli and five males; team captain Joshua Tukamuhebwa, Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Junior, Jonah Kyobe, Owen Kibira and Yusuf Nkobeza.
