Uganda Cranes’ final squad to face Kuwait in an International Friendly game slated for 19th January 2024 left on Monday for Cairo, Egypt.
Head Coach Put Paul Joseph named 22 traveling players with only two goalkeepers, dropping Bul FC custodian Joel Mutakubwa.
Despite having more Cranes engagements than Maroons FC’s Hannington Ssebwalunyo, and in-form teammate Tom Ikara, less game time cost him a slot.
The other players who didn’t make the squad from the provisional one are; Milton Karisa and Umar Lutalo who earlier withdrew from the team after sustaining injuries.
It should be noted that the team to face Kuwait this Friday in Cairo, Egypt is fully comprised of players plying their trade in Uganda.
