The former She Corporate Fc goalkeeper expressed her feeling about joining Football Club Nordsjælland.

”It’s a really cool feeling to be able to call yourself an FCN player. I see the switch to FC Nordsjælland as a great opportunity for me to develop as a player and be part of a team that plays at the top of Danish football,” Karungi stated.

” There is an incredibly strong setup around the Women’s League team and especially around the goalkeeper team, where I hope we can help push each other to improve every day and create good results together,” she concluded.

The 23-year-old custodian is the second African player at Football Club Nordsjælland Ghanian forward Princess Marfo.

She will also now become the second Ugandan player to feature for FC Nordsjælland after Natasha Shirazi who played for the club in 2019.

Karungi has also previously featured for Olila Girls High, She Corporate FC and B93 Boldklubben.
