Crown Lubiri has dominated the Futsal Super League Frenzy Edition Team of the Week, placing three players and their coach, leaving only two slots for the remaining five teams.
Crown Lubiri overcame a tough challenge on Friday, January 31 with a resounding 4-0 victory over Park FC.
The outstanding performance included a brilliant display from players like Muhammad Sharif who scored a brace. The brace earned him a spot on the Team of the Week, alongside teammates Abukar AbdiRazak and Muhammad Muhammad.
Other star players in the first week of the Frenzy Edition include Eze Kombi, who played every minute and scored two late goals against Mbarara QC, securing a 2-2 draw for Edgar’s Youth Program.
Waleed Bashir was another top performer. The Somali teenager led his side, Kisenyi FC, to a 4-2 win over Nansana Aska, scoring two goals.
The selections made by the Futsal Association of Uganda’s technical personnel also included Crown Lubiri’s Najib AbdulRazak as Coach of the Week.
The Frenzy Edition of the Futsal Super League returns to action on Friday, February 7, 2025, with four anticipated exciting fixtures.
