Uganda’s growing influence in the Kenyan Women’s Premier League has taken another clear step forward with Daisy Nakaziro’s move to Kenya Police Bullets.

The experienced Crested Cranes goalkeeper has completed a switch from Kampala Queens to the reigning Kenyan champions, a signing that speaks to both quality and ambition.

Police Bullets confirmed the deal by hailing Nakaziro as a “new acquisition for the Bullets armoury,” a simple reflection of what she brings, authority, calm and reliability in goal.

For Nakaziro, the move opens a new chapter in her career, extending her influence beyond Uganda.

She arrives with a strong reputation. A regular for both Kampala Queens and the national team, Nakaziro is widely respected for her leadership, sharp reflexes and composure in pressure moments.

Those traits fit neatly into a Police Bullets side built on discipline and defensive strength.

She joins other Ugandans at the Club like Margret Kunihira and Zaina Namuleme.

The champions have signed a goalkeeper expected to marshal the defence, make crucial saves and add big-game experience as they push to defend their title.

The club summed it up simply, “Daisy adds experience, leadership and reliability to our last line of defence. The armoury just got stronger.”
