Tuesday’s matchday 14 of the Uganda Premier League will have ten teams in action at five different grounds for the first time in 2024.

The 7:00 pm game between hosts KCCA FC and URA FC at Philip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo stands out tall on all fronts.

With both firing well with KCCA FC on 22 goals and the tax collectors on 18 from 13 matches, the clash promises to be a goal thriller under the floodlights.

Abdallah Mubiru’s side is coming off a 2-1 away victory over UPDF while David Obua’s URA thumped Mbarara FC 3-0 at home in Lugazi.

The two sides have faced off 26 times with URA FC winning 12 games, KCCA securing only seven, the same number of drawn encounters.

The taxmen have scored 34 goals against the Kasasiro boys who are shy of the figure by two goals. The big question is, who will come out on top of tomorrow’s clash?

Other Tuesday Fixtures

Red-hot Maroons will visit Solito Bright Stars. The Prison force who occupy third spot put five past Gaddafi while Bright Stars were in a barren stalement with NEC.

Also away from home, second placed Kitara FC will be out to duplicate their 7-1 victory display over Arua Hills as they visit Busoga FC, a side that lost 1-0 to leaders BUL in their previous encounter.

Back to home at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, league record champions SC Villa will host the army side, UPDF. Villa picked a slim 1-0 win over Wakiso Giants in Matchday 13.

Lastly, in the land of milk, at Kakyeka Stadium, both the hosts Mbarara FC and visitors Wakiso will be hoping to return to winning ways.
