Uganda’s Victoria Pearls continued their strong run at the Easter Women’s T20 Cup, securing two convincing wins on Sunday to stay perfect at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe.
They began the day with a 39-run victory over Uganda A Women before returning in the afternoon to beat USA Women by 65 runs, making it four wins in four matches.

In the morning game of revised overs to 14, Uganda posted 93 for 6 in 14 overs. Stephanie Nampiina top-scored with 32, while Kevin Awino added 25 to steady the innings after an early loss of wickets.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi and Rita Musamali chipped in to push the total to a defendable score.
Uganda A Women struggled in reply. Early wickets put them on the back foot, and they never recovered.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi and Mutonyi Irene picked up two wickets each as Uganda A were restricted to 54 for 7.
The afternoon match followed a similar pattern. Uganda put up 124 for 6, built around Nakisuuyi’s 35 and Musamali’s 26. Esther Iloku and Proscovia Alako added useful runs late to lift the total.

With the ball, Uganda were in complete control. Sarah Akiteng claimed four wickets, while Consylate Aweko Nimungu took three to bowl out USA for 59 in 16 overs.
At the halfway stage, the Victoria Pearls look firmly in charge, with both their batting and bowling units delivering consistently.
