JKL Lady Dolphins are into the semifinals of the National Basketball League, where they will take on the KCCA Leopards in a Best of Five series, slated to tipoff on Friday.
The defending champions have been the best team in the Women’s division of the League by some distance and, Brenda Ekone is focused on securing the championship as invincible.
“We are into the semi-finals and really need to win the title,” said JKL Lady Dolphins point guard Ekone in an interview with Nnalubaale Sports, after securing the Real Star August Basketball Player of the month, on Tuesday.
“We have always won championships but not with an unbeaten record, but this time round, we want to win it without a single loss.”
“We are also looking forward to winning the championship of the Zone 5, especially because we are the defending champions.”
The JKL star also highlighted she would be open to going professional should a chance come up.
“If an opportunity of going professional comes up or something of that sort, I would take it up,” she revealed.
