Uganda Premier League has postponed the matchday nine clash between Express and Calvary after Express confirmed that Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo is unavailable.
In a statement released on Monday, December 1, the league said Express had communicated that the stadium would undergo urgent maintenance starting Tuesday, December 2, and running for two days, forcing the game to be pushed forward.
“The secretariat is in receipt of correspondence from Express FC regarding the temporary unavailability of Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo,” the statement noted. A new date will be announced once plans are finalized.
The postponement comes at a tricky time for both teams. Express sit 12th with nine points from eight games and are still trying to settle into rhythm.
Calvary, bottom of the log with one point from seven matches, will have to wait longer for another shot at lifting themselves off last place.

However other games will continue as scheduled;
