Express FC will be seeking to extend their winning streak to three games when they host Bright Stars FC at Wankulukuku Stadium on Saturday.

The Red Eagles have been in impressive form in recent weeks, having registered victories against KCCA FC (2-1) and Busoga United (2-0).

They will be hoping to maintain their momentum against Bright Stars.

However, Bright Stars have a slight advantage in the head-to-head record between the two sides.

In their previous 14 meetings, Bright Stars have won three games, while Express have won two. The other nine games have ended in draws.

Despite this, Express coach James Odoch is confident that his team can overcome their opponents.

“We are ready to compete,” said Odoch.

“The KCCA victory boosted our confidence. We want to continue performing to our best. We also want to use our advantage.”

Bright Stars are still searching for their first win of the season.

Coach Joseph Mutyaba is confident that his team can get a positive result against Express.

“We have to play as a unit,” said Mutyaba.

“We believe we can pick up points from them. We made some mistakes in our previous games, but we are working on rectifying them. We will improve with time.”

Forward Isaac Wagoina and midfielder Ramsey Kawooya will be key players for Express in this match.
