Express FC is expected to return to action after the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) lifted the suspension on the club.
The suspension was imposed on November 11, 2023, following an attack on assistant referee Fahad Sekayuba by a section of Express fans after the club’s 1-1 draw with UPDF FC on October 27, 2023.
FUFA lifted the suspension after a meeting with members of the Uganda Football Referees Association (UFRA) and the FUFA Referees Standing Committee (FRSC).
