The highly anticipated Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games are set to kick off from August 12 to 23 in Kenya’s Kakamega region. In the boys football tournament, a major rivalry has emerged after the official draws were announced.
Ugandan powerhouse St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende has been placed in the same group as Tanzania’s football giant, Benjamin Mkapa School.
The two teams are considered favorites in the region and will clash in Group B, which also features strong contenders like St Joseph’s Kitale, APE Rugunga, EPM Mupanda Angai Mixed School, and Bukedea Comprehensive.
Meanwhile, Ugandan champions Buddo Secondary School will compete in Group A. Their group includes Musingu High School, CGKF Kizukiro, Butere Boys, Kizuka Secondary School, High Way, and Amus College.
This year’s FEASSSA Games will bring together top schools from Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and host country Kenya. The boys football competition is one of 16 sports to be featured.
