The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) celebrated its 100th Assembly with messages of congratulations from dignitaries worldwide.
Among the well-wishers was FIFA President Gianni Infantino, whose recorded message was presented at the event held at Maya Nature Resort in Wakiso on 4th October 2024.
In his message, Infantino praised FUFA’s impressive achievements over the past century and expressed FIFA’s continued support for Ugandan football, particularly youth development programs. FIFA is a major funding source for FUFA in addition to the Ugandan governments, sponsorships and ticketing.

Solomon Mudega, FIFA’s development programs coordinator for Africa, and David Ndayisenga, manager of the FIFA Regional Development Office, were also present at the event.
FUFA President Engineer Moses Magogo Hashim chaired the assembly and emphasized the significance of this milestone. He announced plans for a year-long celebration to commemorate FUFA’s 100th anniversary.
