FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Teen Cranes Provisional Squad revealed

The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team, also known as the Teen Cranes, is preparing to face Zambia in the third round of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

Coach Sheryl Botes has named a provisional squad of 32 players who will enter residential training on April 28th at the Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi.

The first leg is slated for 12th May at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka while the return leg will be played on 17th May 2024 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

To reach this stage, Uganda overcame Cameroon while Zambia eliminated Tanzania. The winner on aggregate between Uganda and Zambia will face either Morocco or Algeria at the final qualification phase.
