With countries like Uganda still seeking qualification to their first ever  FIFA World Cup, the World football governing body continues to seek more ways to improve the tournament’s experience for the different revealers.

FIFA has revealed three lively mascots for the 2026 World Cup, each representing a host nation, Maple™ the Moose for Canada, Zayu™ the Jaguar for Mexico and Clutch™ the Bald Eagle for the United States.

The tournament runs June 11–July 19 and will feature a record 48 teams.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the trio embodies “joy, energy and togetherness,” promising to spark celebrations across North America and beyond.

Fans will see them on merchandise, at stadiums, and for the first time as playable characters in FIFA Heroes, a five a side game launching in 2026 under the FIFAe banner.

They’ll also appear in Roblox’s FIFA Super League Soccer with themed rewards and interactive quests.

Each mascot reflects its nation’s spirit:

Maple, a street-style artist and fearless goalkeeper, highlights Canada’s creativity and grit.

Zayu, a dazzling striker from Mexico’s jungles, celebrates tradition and bold athleticism.

Clutch, an adventurous midfielder, captures the United States’ optimism and drive.

FIFA hopes Maple, Zayu, and Clutch will unite fans and showcase the culture of the three host countries.
