Jinja North United FC have confirmed the signing of former Uganda Cranes striker Tony Odur.

Odur, who is currently training with the club, is expected to put pen to paper on a one-year contract.

The veteran striker left Onduparaka FC at the start of the 2022/23 season and is now looking to help Jinja North United FC gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

Odur has previously played for Express FC, KCCA FC, Vipers SC, Onduparaka FC and Zambian giants Nkana FC.

He is a proven goalscorer at the top level and will be a valuable asset to Jinja North United FC as they look to achieve their promotion ambitions.

The club finished 10th in the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season and will be hoping to improve on that next season under the guidance of coach Sadick Ssempigi.

Odur’s signing is a major coup for Jinja North United FC and they will be hoping that he can help them achieve their goals in the coming season.
