Uganda’s culture and tourism took center stage in Rabat last night as the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), in partnership with the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA), hosted a lively “Uganda Night” at Villa Soraya in Rabat, Morocco on Monday, December 29 2025.

The event, part of the “Explore Uganda” campaign, brought together Ugandan dignitaries, diaspora members, media, and international guests from across Africa and Europe.

Leading the showcase was Francis Nyende, UTB’s Marketing Manager, who enthralled the audience with a dynamic presentation of Uganda’s tourism offerings.

Through traditional music, cultural storytelling, and stunning visuals of the country’s landscapes and heritage sites, Nyende captured the essence of the Pearl of Africa, highlighting both its beauty and the warmth of its people.

State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Hon. Martin Mugarra, praised the initiative as a strategic platform for promoting Uganda globally.
