Defending champions Kisenyi FC will have their sights firmly set on top spot in the Boys’ Frenzy Edition of the Futsal Super League when they take on struggling neighbours Lubiri Falcons in a fiery Mengo Derby this Friday evening at the Okla Futsal Arena, Old Kampala.

The Sky Blues have opened their title defence in commanding fashion and know that maximum points against a familiar rival could lift them to the summit of the 10-team standings, further underlining their championship credentials.

Currently third on the log with seven points from three matches, Kisenyi could move to 10 points with victory, one clear of early pace setters Mengo City, who boast a perfect record from three games but are not in action on Matchday Five.

Lubiri Falcons, meanwhile, head into the derby still searching for their first points of the season.

Consecutive defeats to Edgar’s Youth Programme (4–2) and Nansana ASKA (4–3) have left them among the league’s three winless sides, piling pressure on the Falcons ahead of a daunting clash with the reigning champions.

Elsewhere in the Boys’ section, fellow winless side Lubaga Grameen will be eager to kick-start their campaign when they face Edgar’s Youth Programme, a youthful outfit looking to recover after back to back defeats following an opening-day win.

Meanwhile, Mbarara QC takes on Kabowa Dream Team, with both sides locked on three points, making their encounter a crucial early-season test.

In the Girls’ section, Nansana ASKA will have an opportunity to move to the top of the table when they face Old Kampala FC in one of the standout fixtures of the day, as the early title picture continues to take shape.
