In a bid to add value to their product and thus attract bigger crowds, Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) has upped basketball games to a ‘sports-entertainmemt meetup.’
In that vein, FUBA has hired NRG radio’s sizzling ‘hot’ Deejay Vee, to light up basketball on the various Friday action nights.
FUBA has also partnered with rugby legend Allan Musoke to ‘MC the nights’ as the crowds get served basketball and revised entertainment.
In another bid to pull bigger crowds, university students with valid Identity Cards will get charged just UGX5,000 as the rest part with the usual UGX10,000.
Through the Friday Night Hoops cmpaign will also be enagaged with halftime challenges and lots of prizes to be won.
FUBA hopes that the new initiative will make basketball games more exciting and attract a wider audience.
