Ham Ntambi, a dedicated supporter of youth football development, has launched a new tournament aimed at providing talented young players with an opportunity to showcase their skills. The Ham End-of-Year Football Tournament will kick off on October 20, 2024, in Bujuuko, Uganda.

The opening ceremony will be graced by Edgar Watson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and a former captain of the Uganda Cranes national team.

The tournament organizer, Ham Ntambi, expressed his excitement about having Watson as the chief guest. “It’s a great honor that the FUFA CEO will be our Chief Guest,” Ntambi said. “We believe in working closely with FUFA to develop football talent.”

The tournament will conclude on January 1st, 2025, with the winning team receiving substantial prizes. Registration for teams is still open, and teams from all over Uganda are encouraged to participate.

Tournament Secretary Robert Lubega confirmed that while 16 teams have already registered, the target is to reach 32. He emphasized that teams can still join the tournament, and all Ugandan teams are welcome to participate.

Each participating team is allowed to have a squad of 25 players, including up to 5 top-flight players. Additionally, teams can register 7 team officials.

The tournament is sponsored by Ham Islamic Primary School Bujuuko, Ham Sports Agency, Ham Motors Bakuli, Ham Soccer Academy, and Team Subaru Garage.
