KCCA FC Soccer Academy kicked off matchday three of the FUFA Juniors League with a crucial 2-0 victory over Kitara FC Junior Team on Friday.
The win puts them in second place in the treble group, just one point behind leaders Mbarara City Junior Team.
After a goalless first half, the game ignited in the 58th minute with Ahamada Mugisha‘s red card for Kitara. Two minutes later, KCCA capitalized as Thomas Ogema set up Gatbet Yian for a headed goal.

Kasimu Mugisha then added to Kitara’s woes with an own goal in the 77th minute, sealing the win for KCCA.

Mwebe Disan of Gaddafi FC Junior Team and Kabila Joseph of Wakiso Giants FC Junior Team lead the scoring charts with 4 and 2 goals, respectively.
League Format and Upcoming Fixtures
The league is played over three rounds. Round 1 and 2 are home-and-away, while Round 3 will be determined according to league regulations and FUFA Competitions.
Matchday 3 continues on Saturday with four matches and concludes on Sunday with two more.
